This happens only in India…
Where survival is a difficult task,
and we manage wearing several masks.
Where taxes & tolls are higher than payrolls.
Where food is expensive and labor is cheap.
Where bridges come down even before they are up.
Where marriage is an event but voting is not evident.
Where fares are so unfair.
Where we aspire to be ramp models more than role models.
Where a man who cooks for his family is celebrated,
and a woman who cooks for her family is subjugated.
Where monsters performing heinous act,
are spared by law leaving no example and impact.
Where we believe in politicians more than ourselves.
Where we have god fearing people,
more than god loving people.
Where democracy is in existence since decades,
but there is not much progress,
and we are still were we started.
This happens only in India!
